Terms of service

These terms apply when you use chrisobliss.com and when you buy from us. Please read them with the Returns, Shipping and Privacy pages. Together they form the contract.

Who we are

ChrisObliss is the shop name of Aura-Senss BV, a Belgian private limited company (besloten vennootschap), with its seat at Turnhoutsebaan 129, 2970 Schilde, Belgium, Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO) 0658769857. Email: info@chrisobliss.com.

What we sell

We sell the Presence Anchor: a reusable golden aroma inhaler kit (the gold tool and cotton sticks). It ships dry. Aroma is not included unless a listing says otherwise. You choose a compatible aroma yourself and follow that supplier’s directions.

The Presence Anchor is an object for personal use with aroma. It is not a medicine, not a medical device, and not a treatment. We do not claim that it diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition.

Please read the Safety and Care pages before you use it. Keep it away from children. Do not swallow any part of it.

Orders and prices

Prices are in euro (EUR). For consumers in the EU, the price you see includes VAT where it applies. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept that order, usually by sending an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if the item cannot be supplied, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot complete payment or delivery. If we have already taken payment, we refund it.

You must be 18 or older to order, or have the agreement of a parent or guardian where the law allows a younger person to buy with that agreement.

Delivery

We ship from Belgium. How we ship, what it costs, and what you may owe on import if you live outside the EU, are set out on the Shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered, or when the carrier first attempts delivery to the address you gave us, as Belgian and EU consumer law provides.

Withdrawal, returns and legal guarantee

If you buy as a consumer in the EU or the EEA, you have 14 days after delivery to withdraw, for unused and sealed goods. How to do that, who pays return postage, and the hygiene exception for an opened or unsealed inhaler or used cotton, are on the Returns page. Please read that page before you open the kit if you think you may send it back.

Your legal guarantee rights for goods that are not in conformity with the contract are not affected.

Use of the site

You may use this site to learn about ChrisObliss and to order. You may not misuse it, try to break it, or use it to send anything unlawful. Content on the site — text, images, music links, the ChrisObliss name and the look of the Presence Anchor — belongs to us or to people who have licensed it to us. You may not copy it for your own shop or catalogue without permission.

Music on ChrisObliss pages is for listening. Buying a Presence Anchor does not transfer copyright in any recording.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care, or by our failure to provide the Presence Anchor as described. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss that comes from a delay or event outside our reasonable control (including carrier disruption or customs). We are not responsible for how you choose and use an aroma from another supplier.

Law and forum

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, that choice of law does not take away the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, where those protections apply.

If you are a consumer living in the EU, you may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence or in Belgium. We will bring any claim against you in the courts of your place of residence. If you are not a consumer, the courts of Antwerp, Belgium, have jurisdiction.

The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to use a specific alternative-dispute body, but you may still contact us first at info@chrisobliss.com.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the version that applies to that order.
